Bon IT is a company from Curaçao on a mission to boost the economy of the island by creating future-proof yet affordable professional websites for small business owners. Curaçao is home to many entrepeneurs who mostly rely on word-of-mouth advertising and Facebook pages. Optimized online presence for all business owners can help business owners increase their profit because clients will have better access to all services provided on the island. To this end, Bon IT not only had its corporate website developed by Vamudo, but also relies on Vamudo as a technology partner. The Bon IT website was built using Hugo, HTML, SASS, Bootstrap and ECMAScript. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

The header of Bon IT’s homepage features a background image, an animation of a custom made graphic and prominent call-to-action buttons that link to the most important sections of the website.

Bon IT’s website features a blog with the capability to tag articles and assign them to categories.

The website has a custom product collection. Products can be displayed in product cards on any page and all products have a dedicated page where clients can check out and pay online.

The website displays completed projects in a portfolio. Portfolio items can also be tagged and assigned to categories. Videos with custom dimensions are displayed on the portfolio pages.

Testimonials

Testimonials can be defined in the content management system. A testimonial block can be placed anywhere on any page. It displays all the testimonials that are linked to a given testimonial block in an elegant carousel with controls. The carousel is touch enabled for smartphone users.

Vamudo developed a single page business card website for Marloes Plender, a freelance UX designer. The goal of the website was to unify her online presence that was scattered across several online portfolio platforms and showcase her full portfolio to attract new clients. Being a digital designer, Marloes provided the corporate identity, copy, images and high fidelity wireframes for the project herself. Vamudo turned her ideas into a real website using HTML, SASS, Bootstrap, ECMAScript, Babel and Webpack. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
